20 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN EDUCATION

About Me

Lindsey Saldana is a dedicated educator, community member, and mother of three who is running for the Alamo Heights Independent School District Board of Trustees, Place 3. With more than 20 years of experience in public education as a teacher, instructional coach, and administrator, Lindsey brings deep knowledge of how schools operate and what students and educators need to succeed.
Lindsey currently serves as an Assistant Principal, where she works daily with students, teachers, and families to create strong learning environments that support both academic achievement and student well-being. She is also in the dissertation phase of earning her PhD in Educational Leadership from The University of Texas at San Antonio, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and effective school leadership.
As both an educator and a parent, Lindsey understands the importance of strong public schools. Her children attend schools in the Alamo Heights community: Emma (Class of 2027), Elise (Class of 2032), and Rafael (Class of 2043). Much of the family’s time is spent supporting their children’s activities, especially at Alamo Heights Little League softball fields and local community events, where Lindsey enjoys connecting with other families and being involved in the community.
Lindsey believes that excellent schools are built through strong partnerships between educators, families, and the community. If elected, she will focus on maintaining the high standards that Alamo Heights ISD is known for while ensuring students continue to have the opportunities and support they need to thrive.
